what is metabase metabase is an open source business intelligence (bi) tool that makes it easy to visualize and analyze data without writing complex code designed for simplicity, it allows users to create dashboards, generate reports, and explore databases through an intuitive web based interface ideal for teams of all sizes, metabase can be hosted in antyxsoft cloud by using our ready to use marketplace app to ensure full control over data privacy and performance getting started with metabase deployment log in to portal antyxsoft io https //portal antyxsoft io and during the instance creation at the select template section click on the market place app tab select the ready to go wordpress template from the list of available templates and deploy it accessing the webui to access the metabase webui, first you will need to copy the public ip of the vm, located in the overview section at the instance menu paste it at your browsers search section followed by port 3000 e g http //\[ip address] 3000 you will be greeted with the installation wizard of metabase setting up metabase right after you click on let's get started , you will need to set your preferred language next you will be asked to enter the credentials for the admin user after setting the admin credentials, you can import your database or you can continue with a provided sample data (for demonstration purposes we will continue with the sample data) finally, set the usage data preferences and then click on take me to metabase to get to the admin panel adding an external database connecting to an external database is very easy once you have setup the metabase service follow the instructions bellow from the admin panel click on the cogwheel located at the bottom left navigate to admin settings click on add database fill out the required details when finished click on save to connect
