What are Backups?

Backups are copies of your instance’s data that are saved in case something goes wrong—like accidental deletions, software issues, or security problems. When you set up backups, you’re ensuring you have a saved version of your VM that you can restore if needed. Antyxsoft Cloud Platform offers automated backups that run daily, weekly, or on a custom schedule, making it easy to recover your data without having to manually save copies. Backups are essential for keeping your data safe and minimizing downtime in case of an issue.

Creating a Backup

  1. From the portal navigate to the Backups menu.

  2. Click on the plus (+) button located on the top right, you will be presented with the Backups creation menu.

  3. First chose the Project you want the Backup to be created for.
  4. Then you'll have to select the datacenter location where the Backup will be created.
  5. Next, select the instance you want to backup.
  6. Set the Interval and the Schedule of the backup.
  7. Finally, set the billing cycle of the resource.
  8. When ready click on Review & Create Backup.

Managing your Backups

When you create your Backups you can manage it from the Backups menu.

From this section, you can manage your Backups with ease: view available backups, restore your VM to a previous state, or remove backups.
